We focus on collaborative teamwork, which helps shy campers find their voice through creative roles like scriptwriting or camera operation. Our instructors are trained to ensure every child feels included and empowered to contribute to the final project.

We have a zero-tolerance policy for bullying. Our Kendall Park staff is trained in positive behavior reinforcement and conflict resolution. Absolutely! Every Flix or Tunes camper at our Kendall Park location will receive a digital copy of their final film or project within 4 weeks of the program ending (but often much sooner).

We will do everything we can to get your child excited about our programs, but ultimately we are not a babysitting service. If we can’t engage your child, he or she will have to be removed. Almost all of our programs are very goal-oriented, and we want the students to have lots of fun learning. When one child does not want to be there and has a poor attitude, it can pull the creativity out of a class and it is no longer “cool” to be doing the projects.

Our Kendall Park instructors are primarily educators, industry professionals, and university students specializing in the area they will be teaching. Every staff member undergoes a rigorous criminal background check and sex offender registry screening. We also require all instructors to complete comprehensive safety and curriculum training before the camp season begins.

We maintain a low staff-to-camper ratio in Kendall Park of 1:10 or less. This exceeds standard day camp requirements and ensures every child receives personalized instruction on their projects. This ratio allows our staff to provide a high level of supervision during both structured activities and transitions. In addition there is a manager stationed at each location to help if any issues arise.

Our Kendall Park site manager is CPR and First Aid certified. We maintain a fully stocked first aid kit on-site and have established emergency protocols for the Grace Presbyterian Church facility. Parents are notified immediately of any medical concerns, and we keep detailed digital health records for every camper to manage allergies or specific needs.

All of our Kendall Park instructors are trained on how to use an epi pen and you’ll want to make us aware of if your child has one and where it is kept in case of emergency. We also ask that parents disclose allergies during registration. We ask that campers do not share food, and we have strict hand-washing protocols before and after lunch breaks.

Security at Grace Presbyterian Church is a top priority. We use a secure digital check-in system where only authorized adults listed on the camper’s profile are permitted to pick up a child. Our Kendall Park staff requires a photo ID for any unfamiliar face and maintains a “closed campus” policy during camp hours.
