FAQ
All supplies needed for all of our programs are provided by us. Your child will want to bring a snack and a drink for break time. Children should bring lunch and a drink if enrolled in a morning and afternoon program. Please go easy on the sweets! Sometimes children will also want to bring props in for their IncrediFlix movies. All of these should be labeled, and please don’t send anything of value as many kids will probably have their hands on it.

If you are at one of our Partner Locations, the refund policy is dictated by the community center or school we are working with.
If you are at an IncrediCamps location, our policy is…
Cancellation Requested more than 7 days before the program starts– Full refund
- We understand that sometimes plans change during the summer time. As long as we have ample time to fill the spot, we are more than happy to accommodate.
Cancellation Requested between 5-7 days from the start of the program– 50% refund
- We plan our camps according to our enrollment and in the event of late cancellation, we will honor a 50% refund. Full refunds are considered for medical reasons with doctor’s notice or for emergencies or events that cannot be missed.
Cancellation Requested within 5 days from the start of the program– No refund
- To ensure quality camps, we arrange our staff and plan out our curriculum and materials based on the enrollment. Unless there’s any unforeseen medical emergencies or life events, we do not refund within 5 days from the camp start date.
Tell us immediately! Don’t ever hesitate to give us a call or tell one of the instructors about what’s going on before/during/or after the program. We know that most everything will work out on it’s own, but why spend any time worrying about it? Let us know, as we really want everybody to have a great time.
Most of the time, our partner locations take the enrollments and host our programs, so you’ll want to contact the organization you enrolled through for their tax ID. If your child was enrolled at an IncrediCamps specific location, our tax ID is 27-4620915.
If you are enrolling at an IncrediCamps specific location, you will have a place to let us know right when you enroll.
If you are enrolled at one of our partner locations, prior to the class starting, you should receive a consent form by email to fill out online. There is also space for you to give us any special information. This might be that your child is shy, has ADHD, gets really excited, or even just loves to make movies and has some experience with this. You can also give us a call or talk to a program instructor before programs starts. The more we know, the more we can make this a great experience for everybody.
We send out pre-program letters for each program with all the info you should need. In case you have any urgent questions, please feel free to call us up and ask. We would love to help!
Several of our camps have a wide age range of kids, and in all of these programs kids work together in smaller groups by age.
For most programs we do not require any prior experience. If a program has a requirement, it will be stated clearly.
In most Stop Motion programs, students work behind the camera to film their movies and they will use their voices for the characters. For Live Action programs, most kids will be recorded while they act on camera, while some may choose to be behind the camera most of the time.
Because children are recorded in their films, attending any of our programs means acceptance of our media release. The media release is sent to most parents (everyone for which we have the email address) before the camp to review. Our instructors also have on hand a laminated copy of the media release for the guardian to review before the start of class if they did not receive a copy prior. The basic idea of the release is that we send the finished movie to all the participants in the camp, and that we all will own a copy and that we cannot control what everybody does with the movies (for example posting on YouTube for grandparents).
Our production fee covers post-production costs associated with creating the finished movies, including production, editing, and hosting the movies on our website for download. In addition, it covers any arts & craft supplies needed for the programs. Please note, at most locations our production fee is included in the price of the program. If any technical issues occur with providing the finished movies, we will return the production fee directly to the guardians.
Yes, they do almost all of the filming (if not all)! We guide them and allow them to take turns being behind the camera in the live action programs, and in stop-motion programs the children do all the filming.
We make every attempt to have the movies edited and uploaded to our gallery within a month of the program ending (and typically much sooner). We know everybody is excited to receive the movies, so our goal is sooner, but sometimes there are technical difficulties that may slow down production. If you haven’t received the movie after a month, please call or email us to let us know as sometimes we may have an incorrect email address.
